ABANDONED HOUSE

ABANDONED HOUSE
Many people from the city thought the Smiths were a strange whanau.  Sure, life out here on the island was very different.  For a start, they didnt get their groceries from the local supermarket, or go to the local pizza restaurant.  The weather up here could be quite dramatic, even frightning frightening.  They frequently felt like the world was against them, but they somehow found a way to get used to it.  It may be far from what people call civilisation but it suited the Smith whanau just fine.  The Smith whanau(who liked to keep to themselves)  had been living there for generations.  In there little wooden house,  they had huge silver cobwebs hanging from the corners of the ceiling.  Rickety old shelves are nailed into the white walls.  On the shelves there were dusty broken vases filled with dead flowers and green murky water.  One stormy day the ice blue moana spat out collosal colossal  waves.  The rua kids sat on the hard grey concrete petting there  brown furry cats Jack and Jill.  They really wanted some friends but they werent allowed out of the house.  So the girls went to their māmā and pāpā and told them they wanted some friends.  They thought about it for a few weeks and finally said yes.  So they set of for the city and they finally had some friends.
