To make the compound sentence you have to make your own sentence than I used one of the words from the box and added it to my sentence.

With the rā shining on us exitement excitement filled our bodies as We lined up ready to rēhi .  Swarleen,Cairo, and I got on a iata and got in the line with all the other yachts. “Go” miss Bartlett yelled from the sandy shore.  Everyone pushed and shoved and crashed into each other. Smash! someone crashed into our boat. People were splashing kātao everywhere and we were getting soaked.  There was a big pile of iata and we were part of it. We tried our best to escape but we had no luck and started going backwards but then we got pushed out by all the boats. We were of to the moutere. Paddling as hard and as in time as we could we passed another boat.  As we got closer and closer to the island there were three boats already there and we had to come fourth.  We were going really fast now. “4th place” Aj called as we reached the rocky island.
