compound sentence work

Try to write 3 compound sentences on your own using the connectives in the box above to connect two complete thoughts.

1. In the summer I like to go to the beach and swim.

2. I like to sing but i’m not that good.

3. I bake cakes when it’s somebody’s birthday.

To make the compound sentence you have to make your own sentence than I used one of the words from the box and added it to my sentence.
